Plymouth School District Community Education & Recreation is showing the PG-rated “Wicked: Part 1” as its spring Free Film.
Elphaba, misunderstood because of her green skin, and Galinda, a popular girl, become friends at Shiz University in the Land of Oz. After an encounter with the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their friendship reaches a crossroads.
The film will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday May 19 in the Plymouth High School Auditorium, 125 S. Highland Ave. (enter Door 1). Please note that food and drink are not allowed in the auditorium.
Admission is free, but sign up by Friday May 16 so we know there is enough interest to show the film. You can register online via MyRec, by emailing commedrec@plymouth.k12.wi.us, or by calling 920-892-5068.
