A team of Plymouth fourth-graders took first place at a recent STEAM retreat held at the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay!
Plymouth elementary students identified as gifted and talented in the areas of math and creativity attended the Feb. 21 event hosted by the CESA 7 GT Consortium.
They participated in workshops on mass and velocity, aerodynamics, sound and friction, and color, then were challenged to construct a model locomotive out of cardboard that had to meet certain specifications.
