Foreign-exchange students studying at Plymouth High School during the 2024-25 school year

AFS students to talk about Albania, Germany, Lebanon, Mongolia, Switzerland

International students currently attending Plymouth High School and area schools will share information and a treat from their home countries with community members.

The second set of 2024-25 AFS Student Presentations will begin at 3:30 p.m. Sunday Feb. 16 at Generations, 1500 Douglas Drive. Presenters will be:

  • Noem Shkoza of Albania, attending Random Lake High School
  • Jaak Schmidt of Germany, attending Elkhart Lake High School
  • Bechara El Hajj of Lebanon, attending Plymouth High School
  • Unurmaa (Evelyn) Enkhjargal of Mongolia, attending Plymouth High School
  • Leandro Papapoulios of Switzerland, attending Plymouth High School

Mark your calendar! The final set of AFS Student Presentations is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Sunday May 4 at Generations, and will feature students from Bulgaria, Denmark, India, Italy, and Nigeria.

About Plymouth AFS

The Plymouth AFS chapter, one of the most active in the state, is hosting 17 foreign-exchange students this year, from Albania, Argentina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, India, Italy (three students), Lebanon, Mongolia, Nigeria, Norway, and Switzerland.

Eight are attending Plymouth High School, with four at Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, two at Sheboygan North, and one each at Sheboygan South, Kohler, and Random Lake.
