Plymouth School District Community Education & Recreation is offering a new three-part Detox Series this winter!
You can register for these classes individually, or take all three at a discounted price of $85 through Jan. 20 ($95 after that). Register anytime online via MyRec, or from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Community Ed & Rec office on the south end of Plymouth High School (Door 18), 125 Highland Ave.
Join a discussion outlining how you can protect land, air, and water quality in your own yard and beyond. Learn about how the choices you make while shopping can either help or hurt the natural environment. Leave with a renewed sense of purpose as an environmental steward, and understand how a few changes can create the most effective outcomes.

Fee: $15 through Jan. 20, then $25
Learn how to make your kitchen a healthier place to prepare your food. Learn about less-toxic cooking gear and cleaning supplies, as well as how to store food safely in the fridge, freezer, and pantry.

Details: 6-7:30pm Wednesday Feb. 5 in the PHS Library
Fee: $15 through Jan. 27, then $25
Dive into how the endocrine system and hormones are impacted by toxins and how you can begin to heal and support your body. Learn about lower-toxic living strategies, from everyday household products to personal care items, and how to transition to healthier alternatives. Leave with actionable steps and resources to support their hormone health. Bonus: Includes a copy of Dr. Owens’ Hormone & Endocrine Health e-book.
