PHS Girls Basketball hosting Youth Night

Plymouth High School Girls Basketball is hosting its annual Youth Night during the home games Friday Jan. 24.

All area girls who play for Riverview Middle School, St. John the Baptist School, St. John Lutheran School, Plymouth Area Basketball Association, and the YMCA, as well as their coaches, will receive free admission if they are wearing their team jersey. (Children must remain in the gym and must be accompanied by a parent/guardian; adult admission is $5.)

Young athletes can stop at the registration table to enter free drawings for halftime activities and for an autographed team basketball, as well as enjoy a basketball cookie and a special Panther gift.

Schedule of events

• 5:45 p.m.: JV tip-off
• 6 p.m.: Team poster autographing session – Meet your favorite players and receive an autographed team poster sponsored by Celtic Perspective Photography.
• 6:30 p.m.: Basketball photo wall – Capture all your smiles with players and friends.
• 6:45 p.m.: Girls Shot Club - Winners will be recognized by PHS Varsity Coach Brad Shutter.
• 7 p.m.: Varsity tip-off – Sit with your team and cheer on the Panthers as they take on Winneconne.
• Halftime: All girls basketball players and coaches in attendance will be recognized; fans also can enjoy contests, giveaways, and announcement of the winner of the autographed basketball.
