Plymouth School District Community Education & Recreation is offering two bread-related classes, two Freezer Meals sessions, and a new stocks and broths class this winter!
Learn to make your own starter from scratch, working with pumpernickel flour to make a braided marble rye, and create "art bread" with sculptural designs on the top of the bread.

Learn the art of creating focaccia bread with three flavorings and sample results of the savory and the sweet. Meanwhile, stir up winter squash bisque/soup for a hearty cold weather meal. Step-by-step instructions and resources provided. Come hungry, leave satiated.

Spend an hour assembling 4 freezer meals to feed 4-6 people. Includes prepped veggies, spices, herbs, bags, recipes, etc. When you’re ready to eat, add another ingredient or two and your choice of protein.

This nourishing make-and-take hands-on workshop will teach you to nourishing broths/stocks and offer information about the benefits of healing stocks. Get inspiration for maximizing the nutritional value and flavor of homemade stocks and broths. We will include vegetables, mushrooms, beef and chicken bones as well as herbs in our broths. Bring a small pot, and everyone will have the opportunity to take home the base ingredients to make your own stock/broth at home.
