Congratulations to the Plymouth High School Tech Club, which took first and second in the Modified Class at a recent Wisconsin Formula Student USA competition!

Twelve schools participated in the event, held May 15-16 at Road America in Elkhart Lake. Times are determined by averaging the top three drivers for each car.

The Panther M-77 and M-66 cars finished first and second in the Modified Class with times of 46.36 and 48.46, respectively. In addition, PHS M-88 took third in the Prototype Class, with an average time of 43.29.

Formula Student USA gives students interested in motorsports, engineering, and technology a realistic outlet to showcase their skills and talents. Schools construct vehicles to a strict set of guidelines, then compete against each other in a controlled racing time-trial event.
