‘Fabelmans’ is next Free Film

Posted May 15, 2023

Plymouth School District Community Education & Recreation is showing “The Fabelmans” as the final spring Free Film.

This PG-13 film tells the story of young Sammy Fabelman, who aspires to become a filmmaker while growing up after World War II. He discovers a shattering family secret and explores how the power of film can help him see the truth. The film, released in 2022, was directed by Steven Spielberg and is loosely based on his adolescence and early film career.

“The Fabelmans” will begin at 6 p.m. Monday May 22 in the auditorium at Plymouth High School (enter Door 1), 125 S. Highland Ave.

Admission is free, but please register by Friday May 19 so Community Ed & Rec knows there is enough interest to show the film. You can register online via MyRec, by emailing commedrec@plymouth.k12.wi.us, or by calling 920-892-5068.
