Community invited to winter school shows

Parents, grandparents, and other community members are invited to experience the talents of Plymouth School District students at winter performances.

The following shows are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted. Performances are at Plymouth High School, 125 S. Highland Ave., or at Riverview Middle School, 300 Riverside Circle.

PHS Winter Band Concert

7:30 p.m. Monday Jan. 9 in the PHS Auditorium

Riverview Band Concert

6:30 p.m. Tuesday Jan. 10 in the Riverview Auditorium
Featuring students in grades 7 and 8

Riverview Choir Concert

6:30 p.m. Thursday Feb. 9 in the Riverview Auditorium
Featuring students in grades 7 and 8

Wisconsin Singers

7:30 p.m. Friday Feb. 17 in the PHS Auditorium
Featuring talented musicians from UW-Madison; Momentum, the PHS show choir, will open the show. Tickets will be available in the PHS Office beginning Feb. 1 and cost $15 for adults and $10 for students.

Riverview 6th-Grade Band & Jazz Band Concert

6:30 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 28 in the Riverview Auditorium
Featuring students in grade 6 and the Riverview Jazz Band

Comedy Team Performance

7 p.m. Thursday March 2 in the PHS Amphitheatre (rescheduled to April 14)
Featuring improvisational games played by Jolly Pranksters team members. Audience participation is highly encouraged and an integral part of the show.

PHS spring musical

7 p.m. Thursday March 9-Saturday March 11 and 2pm Sunday March 12 in the PHS Auditorium
Featuring “Footloose,” the story of a teenage boy from Chicago who moves to a small town and finds himself at odds with most of the residents, especially the reverend who has convinced the town to outlaw dancing. Tickets will be available in the PHS Office closer to the show.
