Register soon for Home Alone, Babysitting classes

Plymouth School District Community Education & Recreation is offering Home Alone and Babysitting classes for students this fall.

Home Alone

Students in grades 3-6 who spend time home without an adult will gain a knowledge of safety concepts. They will learn to use 911, what to do if the lights go out, and how to handle small emergencies.
Instructor: Denise Roth, Horizon Elementary School teacher
Details: 4-5:30 p.m. Monday Oct. 17 and Tuesday Oct. 18 in the library at Parkview Elementary School, 500 Parkview Drive
Fee: $25 until Oct. 7, then $35

Babysitting

Students in grades 5-8 (ages 10+) will learn to be better babysitters. Each participant receives a certificate of completion to show potential employers.
Instructor: Denise Roth, Horizon Elementary School teacher
Details: 3-5 p.m. Monday Nov. 7 and Tuesday Nov. 8 in the library at Riverview Middle School, 300 Riverside Circle
Fee: $29 until Oct. 28, then $39

Online (preferred): https://plymouthwi.myrec.com. If you have not done so already, you will need to create a MyRec account; once we verify residency and approve the account, you can register for any of our current offerings.
By mail: Download the printable registration form and send it with a check to Community Ed & Rec, 125 S. Highland Ave., Plymouth WI 53073.
In person: Registrations are accepted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays in our office on the south end of Plymouth High School. Park in the visitor lot in front of the school and enter at Door 18.
