This year marks the 25th anniversary of the graduation of the Plymouth High School Class of 1997. Here is a look back at their senior year!
Homecoming
Homecoming Week 1996 had a Disney theme and featured:
- Girls’ powder puff football games
- Dress-up days throughout the week, including yellow and disco
- Hall and window decorating
- Tug-of-war competition
- Food drive and penny war
- Homecoming crowning ceremony and laser show, followed by a pep rally in the gym
- Parade through downtown, followed by a bonfire
- Football victory over Kewaskum on Friday evening
- Homecoming Dance on Saturday
The arts
Performing opportunities included:
- Fall play “Jabberwock”
- One-act play “Class Action”
- Christmas Madrigal Dinner in December
- Spring musical “South Pacific”
- Concert Band, Jazz 1, Jazz 2, Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble
- Swing Choir, Mixed Choir, Womens Choir, Freshmen Girls Choir
- Lakeland College Music Festival in April
- State Solo & Ensemble in May
Sports

- PHS hosted 10 foreign-exchange students during the school year.
- PHS students visited Honduras, Germany, France, and the Bahamas
- The band performed at Walt Disney World.
