Horizon celebrated Read Across America Week the week of March 2, with dress-up days under the theme “Read Like a Super Hero”; a family literacy night that saw each child leave with a new book and writing journal; and guest readers including:

  • Kim Neising, children’s librarian at Plymouth Public Library
  • Kyle Odekirk, an electrician and racecar driver
  • PHS students in the Public Speaking class taught by Megan Hummitzsch
