Wisconsin Singers returning to PHS

Posted January 13, 2020

The Wisconsin Singers, featuring talented performers from UW-Madison, will present their 52nd season show this month at Plymouth High School.

“Hold On To Your Dreams!” will begin at 7 p.m. Friday Jan. 24 in the PHS Acuity Auditorium, 125 S. Highland Ave. Reserved-seat tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for students and are available in the PHS office and at the Plymouth Piggly Wiggly, and will be available at the door. Enter the lobby at Door 1.

Proceeds benefit Momentum, the PHS show choir, which will present its competitive show as the opening act. Momentum director Carter Krzyzaniak, a 2015 PHS grad, was a member of the Wisconsin Singers for the previous four years.

“Hold On To Your Dreams!” is a 90-minute revue of American pop music from the past five decades. Featured medleys include a tour around the USA; “Broadway Dreams” musical theater classics; and familiar songs from “Beauty and the Beast,” “Frozen,” and other family favorites. The celebrated Wisconsin Singers’ band will cap off the evening with its special blend of jazz, funk, and classic rock. There’s even a Fifth Quarter where Badger fans can sing along to “Varsity” and jam to “Jump Around.”
