Congratulations to these Plymouth High School students on their recent recognitions!
The PHS Horse Evaluation Team placed 13th in the nation at the FFA Career Development Event.
A team from Plymouth High School placed 13th at the National FFA Horse Evaluation Career Development Event competition.
The team of Katelyn Reilly, Katie Hanson, Kinsey Ninneman and Jamie Hansen, coached by Cheryl Unke, won the state competition in April to advance to the national contest, held Oct. 30-Nov. 1 in Indianapolis.

In the competition, held Dec. 6 at FVTC in Appleton, teams of students had to make a meal using only two gas burners and no electricity or battery-operated equipment.
Lukas Sternard and Liam Fintak created Parmesan Stuffed Chicken Breast, Creamy Garlic Squash, and Toasted Rice Pilaf. Kristy Pelletier and Greg Even created Creamy Tuscan Chicken, Garlic and Herb Linguine, and Grilled Asparagus.
The competition is open to advanced culinary students in the nationally recognized ProStart program that is sponsored by the National Restaurant Association. This competition gives students the opportunity to hone their skills before going to the State ProStart competition in Milwaukee in March.
