Schools to celebrate Plan Your Future Week

Posted October 7, 2019

To get students excited about their futures, the Plymouth School District again is sponsoring Plan Your Future Week from Oct. 14 to 17.

This initiative reinforces the district vision that all students graduate from Plymouth High School with a plan, whether they are bound for a university, a community college, a technical college, a vocational training school, an apprenticeship, the military, or a gap year.

Staff members will be wearing T-shirts on Monday Oct. 14 that invite students to ask them about their career paths. Teachers also will use advisory periods and/or class time for brief lessons and conversations to help make students aware of the different options available to them after high school.

Students are encouraged to join in on dress-up days during the rest of the week:

  • Tuesday Oct. 15 and Wednesday Oct. 16: College, university, vocational training school, apprenticeship, military, employer apparel
  • Thursday Oct. 17: Panther Pride apparel
