FFA Horse Team takes 1st at State

A team from Plymouth High School took first place at the state FFA Career Development Event competition and will be representing Wisconsin in national competition in the fall.

The PHS Horse Evaluation team finished first out of 23 teams April 26 at UW-Madison. Members of the team are:

  • Katie Hanson: 2nd out of 91 individual competitors
  • Kinsey Ninnemann: 3rd as an individual
  • Jamie Hansen: 29th as an individual
  • Katelyn Reilly: 60th as an individual

The PHS Meat Evaluation team finished second out of 25 teams. Members of the team are:

  • Hannah Schultz: 5th out of 91 individual competitors
  • Jack Seifert: 14th as an individual
  • Alisha Klemme: 16th as an individual
  • Morgan Phipps: 51st as an individual

The PHS Vet Science team finished fourth out of 24 teams. Members of the team are:

  • Dallas Kreisa: 7th out of 84 individual competitors
  • Anna Seifert: 11th as an individual
  • Elise Bleck: 39th as an individual
  • Stella Kissell: 61st as an individual

The PHS Livestock Evaluation team finished sixth out of 42 teams. Members of the team are:

  • Caden Nicolaus: 5th out of 166 individual competitors
  • Anna Kitzerow: 7th as an individual
  • Logan Beck: 35th as an individual
  • Jaden Papenfus: 139th as an individual

The PHS Agronomy team finished ninth out of 35 teams. Members of the team are:

  • Jared Abraham: 26th out of 122 individual competitors
  • Anthony Bulin: 43rd as an individual
  • Levi Mugan: 60th as an individual
  • Isaac Kohlman: 65th as an individual

In addition, the PHS Forestry team finished 18th out of 22 teams. Members of the team are Jason Meyer, Brandon Schultz, and James Steinhardt.
