A Fantastic Friday trip to Bay Beach Amusement Park in Green Bay is planned for this summer.

Fantastic Fridays offered this summer

Posted May 6, 2019

Plymouth School District Summer School classes will not meet on Fridays this year, but Fantastic Fridays will be available for families needing care as well as for kids looking for a fun outing.

Fantastic Fridays, sponsored by Community Education & Recreation, offer enriching activities on no-school days. Supervision is provided by child-care workers and Youth Center staff, but the events are open to all area students who will be entering 5K through 8th grade this fall.

Scheduled activities are:

  • June 21: Bay Beach Amusement Park in Green Bay
  • June 28: Shalom Wildlife Zoo in West Bend
  • July 12: Galloway House and Fairground Aquatic Center in Fond du Lac
  • July 19: Shaw Family Park and Marcus Theatre in Sheboygan

Please note: Alternate arrangements have been made with Marcus Theatre to show a movie in the event of bad weather. Should that happen, efforts will be made to offer the original activity at a future Fantastic Friday.

Register early, because only 100 spots are available for each outing. Register for all four events by June 14 and pay just $100. Otherwise, fees are $30 per event if registered at least a week in advance, or $45 the week of the event. No refunds will be provided.

Participants should be dropped off by 9 a.m. at Horizon Elementary School, 411 S. Highland Ave., and are expected to return there around 3:30 p.m. However, care is available from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at no additional charge.
