A pair of youth sports opportunities are being offered this summer through the Plymouth School District.
The camps listed below are operated by their respective Plymouth High School athletic programs, with registration handled by Community Education & Recreation.
PHS coaches and players will teach game fundamentals with drills and game play.
Who: Girls entering grades 4-9
When: June 10 to 14; grades 4-6 from 8 to 9:30 a.m., grades 7-9 from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m.
Where: Horizon gym
Fee: $45 until May 31 (then $55); includes a T-shirt
The purpose of camp is to correct, teach, and help perfect the individual fundamentals of basketball. The camp will consist of individual offensive and defensive fundamental techniques, as well as scrimmaging in small groups and competing in drills and contests.
Who: Boys entering grades 2-9
When: Session 1 will be June 17 to 21, Session 2 will be June 24 to 28; grades 6-9 from noon to 1:30 p.m., grades 2-5 from 1:45 to 3:15 p.m.
Where: Riverview gym
Fee: $45 per session or both for $60 until June 7 (then $55 and $70); includes a T-shirt
