Summer child care discounted until April 26

Posted April 15, 2019

Plymouth School District Community Education & Recreation offers summer child care for children from 6 weeks old through students who will be entering fifth grade in the fall.

Three age-appropriate programs are available from June 10 to Aug. 30:

  • Mulberry Bush: For children 6 weeks to 4 years old. Located at Horizon Elementary School.
  • Berry Branch: For children who will be entering kindergarten or first grade in the fall. Located at Horizon.
  • Extra Mile: For children who will be entering second through fifth grades in the fall. Located at Riverview Middle School.

Care is available from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays at Mulberry Bush. The other programs are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., except no care is available when Summer School is in session so that children may participate in that program.

The child-care programs will be closed Thursday July 4 and Friday July 5, and Monday Aug. 26. Fantastic Fridays will be offered instead of child care on June 21 and 28, and July 12 and 19.

Fees vary based on the age of the child and the number of hours of care needed. Register for summer and the next school year by Wednesday April 26 and save $10 per child.
