Mike Briggs has been honored with a Wisconsin Athletic Service Award from the Wisconsin Athletic Directors Association for his four decades of dedication to Panther athletics.
Mr. Briggs, technology coordinator for the Plymouth School District, has served as wrestling coach/advisor/organizer for 41 years, in addition to coaching football, working at track and cross-country meets, and working with Plymouth Community TV, which showcases PHS athletic events.
The annual award allows a WADA-member school to recognize someone from its staff or community who has gone above and beyond in service to its athletic program. Past PHS recipients have included former PHS teacher and coach Scott Richards.
