Panthers in the Playoffs

Girls Swimming & Diving

The Panthers finished 21st as a team at the Division 2 State Girls Swimming & Diving Championships held Nov. 9 in Madison. Competing for the Panthers were:

  • 1-Meter Diving: 9th Danielle Tesky 371.30; 13th Miranda Rautmann 317.45; 14th Isabella Josephs 310.90; 15th Isabella McCabe 309.55
  • 200-Yard Freestyle: 16th Morgen Frausto 2:02.44

Earlier in the playoffs, the Panthers won the ECC title and took third as a team at sectionals Nov. 2-3 in Ashwaubenon. Competing at sectionals for the Panthers were:

  • 1-Meter Diving: 2nd Danielle Tesky 366.85*; 3rd Isabella Josephs 327.05*; 4th Miranda Rautmann 314.10*; 5th Isabella McCabe 313.40*
  • 200-Yard Freestyle: 2nd Morgen Frausto 2:00.26*; 13th Sophie Schneider 2:15.01
  • 200-Yard Freestyle Relay: 2nd Plymouth team of Elizabeth Tournour, Olivia Strutz, Jennifer Novotny, Morgen Frausto 1:43.30
  • 400-Yard Freestyle Relay: 2nd Plymouth team of Olivia Strutz; Keeley Kuru, Elizabeth Tournour, Morgen Frausto 3:49.83
  • 500-Yard Freestyle: 3rd Keeley Kuru 5:37.40
  • 100-Yard Freestyle: 4th Elizabeth Tournour 57.03; 5th Morgen Frausto 57.04; 18th Christiana Hoyt 1:01.08; 19th Sophie Schneider 1:01.64
  • 50-Yard Freestyle: 5th Elizabeth Tournour 25.43; 22nd Ava Marx 28.22
  • 200-Yard Medley Relay: 5th Plymouth team of Jimena Madoz, Jennifer Novotny, Keeley Kuru, Olivia Strutz 2:00.83
  • 100-Yard Butterfly: 6th Keeley Kuru 1:04.66; 8th Olivia Strutz 1:06.78
  • 100-Yard Backstroke: 8th Jimena Madoz 1:07.66
  • 100-Yard Breaststroke: 9th Jennifer Novotny 1:15.47; 14th Ava Marx 1:18.14

Boys Soccer

The Panthers advanced to the Division 3 State Boys Soccer Tournament but lost to McFarland 2-0 in a semifinal Nov. 1 at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee.

Earlier in the playoffs, 4th-seeded Plymouth defeated 13th-seeded Berlin 6-0 in a regional Oct. 18, and 5th-seeded Waupun 3-2 in overtime in the regional final Oct. 20. The Panthers then defeated top-seeded Seymour 2-1 in a sectional game Oct. 25, and 3rd-seeded Fox Valley Lutheran 3-0 to become sectional champs Oct. 27.

Cross Country

The Panther girls finished fourth as a team at the Division 2 State Cross Country Meet held Oct. 27 in Wisconsin Rapids. Competing for the Panthers were:

  • 9th: Olivia Rabe 19:13.5
  • 15th: Maggie Munson 19:41.0
  • 38th: Lauren Rabe 20:18.2
  • 64th: Lily Laporte 20:51.2
  • 97th: Allie Gruttner 21:21.7
  • 125th: Amanda Triebensee 22:03.6
  • 138th: Izzy Kastelic 22:41.3

Earlier in the playoffs, the girls won the ECC title and took second as a team at sectionals Oct. 20 in Kiel. The boys took sixth at sectionals. (View sectional results.)

Football

The 3rd-seeded Panthers defeated 6th-seeded Port Washington 21-20 in a Division 3 first-round game Oct. 19, but lost to 2nd-seeded Greendale 31-21 in Round 2 on Oct. 26.

Volleyball

No. 2-seeded Plymouth defeated 15th-seeded Milwaukee Vincent (25-3, 25-7, 25-5) in a Division 2 regional Oct. 16, then defeated 7th-seeded Shorewood (18-25, 25-11, 25-14, 25-23) Oct. 18. The Panthers lost to 3rd-seeded University School of Milwaukee (25-21, 10-25, 25-19, 25-15) in the regional final Oct. 20.

Girls Tennis

The Panthers tied for fifth as a team at the Division 1 subsectionals Oct. 2 in West Bend. (View subsectional results.)
