The Plymouth School District is welcoming 24 new teachers for the 2018-19 school year.

Andrea Alverez

Position: Fifth-grade teacher at Riverview Middle School
Educational background: Bachelor's degree from UW-Milwaukee
Previous experience: This will be her second year of teaching.

Elizabeth Brisson

Position: English language arts teacher at Plymouth High School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree from UW-Platteville
Previous experience: This will be her first year of teaching.

Andrew Crivellone

Position: Educational specialist at Plymouth High School
Educational background: Bachelor's degree from Lakeland College
Previous experience: This will be his first year of teaching.

Jenna Edington

Position: Family and consumer science economics teacher at Riverview Middle School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree from Olivet Nazarene University
Previous experience: This will be her first year of teaching.

Mx. Heaven Elliot

Position: German teacher at Plymouth High School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree from UW-La Crosse
Previous experience: This will be the first year of teaching, after sub work in Tomah and La Crosse.
Other interests: Reading Marvel/DC comics, watching entire Netflix series in one sitting, and taking the cats for walks.

Mrs. Maggie Fouliard

Position: School counselor/psychologist at Plymouth High School and Riverview Middle School
Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish from UW-Stevens Point; master's degree in Educational Psychology from UW-Milwaukee
Previous experience: This will be her 18th year of teaching. She worked for the past 14 years as Lomira High School counselor, and before that was high school counselor at Random Lake High School for three years.
Other interests: Traveling, reading, attending sporting events, camping

Miss Courtney Greenwald

Position: Fourth-grade teacher at Parkview Elementary School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from UW-Whitewater
Previous experience: This will be her first year of teaching, but she has taught dance and Sunday School since she was in middle school, starting out as an assistant and then moving onto the lead teacher in both positions.
Other interests: She has been trained in all forms of dance, and she has performed all across Wisconsin with dance and traveled to perform at the 2014 Sugarbowl, in Magic Kingdom at Disney Florida, and at several baseball games in Illinois and Michigan. When not dancing she likes to be creative. She loves drawing and painting. She also enjoys being outside and active with hiking, running, and swimming. 

Ms. Rachel Kemnitz

Position: Eighth-grade math and science teacher at Riverview Middle School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degrees Elementary Education and Biology from UW-Madison
Previous experience: This will be her first year of teaching.
Other interests: Trying new recipes, crafting, playing with her dog (2-year-old yellow lab named Nala), lifting weights

Mr. Ryan Krippendorf

Position: Art teacher at Plymouth High School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree from UW-Milwaukee
Previous experience: This will be his eighth year of teaching, having previously taught at Bruce Guadalupe Community School and at Central City Cyber School.
Other interests: Photography, tabletop games, and comics 

Marcus McCauley

Position: Educational specialist at Plymouth High School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree from Lakeland University
Previous experience: This will be his first year of teaching.

Mrs. Jenny Noster

Position: Educational specialist at Fairview Elementary School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Education from UW-Oshkosh; early childhood and early childhood special education certifications from Silver Lake College
Previous experience: This will be her 12th year of teaching, having taught special education at Grant Elementary School and, most recently, at the Early Learning Center in Sheboygan for 10 years.
Other interests: She loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys playing and coaching softball, and also craft projects, scrapbooking, music, camping, sports, and exercising.

Ms. Amanda Parks

Position: Fifth-grade math and science teacher at Riverview Middle School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Special and General Education from UW-Oshkosh
Previous experience: This will be her first year of teaching, but she worked as a para-professional and substitute for the Rosendale-Brandon School District and at various childcare programs and facilities.
Other interests: Enjoys spending time with friends, family and her dog Rocky. Her interests range from being outside hiking and fishing to staying inside and being crafty. During the summer she oftentimes is found volunteering and helping out community organizations such as 4-H and animal shelters.

Alexia Piskule

Position: STEAM teacher at Riverview Middle School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree from Lakeland University
Previous experience: This will be her first year of teaching.

Ms. Ingrid Polinski

Position: Sixth-grade educational specialist at Riverview Middle School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in both Elementary and Special Education from UW-Stevens Point
Previous experience: This will be her first year of teaching.
Other interests: She loves to attend Brewers and Bucks games, read, and watch movies.

Ms. Renee Reimer

Position: Fourth-grade teacher at Fairview Elementary School
Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from UW-La Crosse; master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with ESL/Bilingual Education focus from Arizona State University
Previous experience: This will be her 20th year teaching. She taught grades 4-6 in Phoenix, Ariz., then moved to Green Bay and taught grades 3-6 in bilingual classrooms.
Other interests: She enjoys hunting, boating, going for motorcycle rides and snowmobiling with her boyfriend - loves being outdoors. Sunflowers are her favorite! She also enjoys spending time with her niece and nephew.

Denise Roth

Position: Reading specialist at Horizon Elementary School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree from UW-Stevens Point; master’s degree, PreK-12 Reading Teacher License, and PreK-12 Reading Specialist License from Cardinal Stritch University
Previous experience: She taught two years in seventh grade; and has 17 years of experience with the Kohler School District and 15 years with Plymouth Community Education & Recreation.
Other interests: She enjoys summer outdoor activities: gardening, swimming, boating, hiking, walking and reading on the beach.

Miss Colleen Schulz

Position: English and drama teacher at Plymouth High School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Music Theatre Performance from UW-La Crosse; master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from UW-Milwaukee
Previous experience: This will be her first year of teaching, but she has served as teaching artist for Milwaukee Repertory Theatre and First Stage Children's Theatre, and as teaching artist and director for Lake Country Playhouse.
Other interests: Singing, dancing, acting, and writing

Kurt Schulz

Position: Alternative education teacher at Plymouth High School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree from UW- Milwaukee; master’s degree from Viterbo University
Previous experience: He has 13 years of teaching experience in Wauwatosa School District.

Miss Elizabeth Smith

Position: Fifth-grade educational specialist at Riverview Middle School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from UW-Whitewater
Previous experience: This will be her first year of teaching, but she has subbed in Madison and Verona as well as a long-term position in Brillion.
Other interests: She enjoys traveling the world when she gets the chance as well as playing board games with friends.

Position: Physical education and health teacher at Plymouth High School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree from UW-Oshkosh
Previous experience: This will be his second year of teaching.

Sanora Stout

Position: Eighth-grade teacher at Riverview Middle School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University
Previous experience: This will be her first year of teaching.

Other interests: He plays guitar, sings, and participates in different performance arts.

Mr. Kellen Warner

Position: Sixth-grade science and social studies teacher at Riverview Middle School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree from UW-Parkside
Previous experience: This will be his first year of teaching, but he has been working in different capacities with kids since January 2012, including as a classroom tutor, summer camp leader, personal tutor, and substitute teacher.
Other interests: When not at school, he can be found cheering on his beloved Brewers, Badgers, and Packers. He also enjoys traveling across the United States and Latin America.

Mr. Erik West

Position: School counselor at Plymouth High School
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and master’s degree in School Counseling from Concordia University
Previous experience: This will be his second year as a counselor, having served as a long-term substitute at University School of Milwaukee, and as a paraprofessional at Parkway Elementary School, as a boys basketball coach at PHS and University School of Milwaukee, and as a counselor at Moffat County High School in Craig, Colo.
Other interests: Being around friends and family, especially his wife, Britta, and dog, Hazel; camping and hiking; and sports, sports, sports! (Pittsburgh Steelers, Brewers, Bucks, and Badgers!)
