PHS boys basketball to honor military, community

The Plymouth High School boys basketball team will host a Military & Community Appreciation Night on Tuesday, Feb. 6 to honor active and veteran U.S. Armed Forces members.

Veterans and active-duty service members will receive free admission to that night’s game against Beaver Dam. The first 100 military and veterans who attend will receive a special gift.

The theme of the evening will be patriotic for students and fans. The PHS Boys Basketball Booster Club will donate its portion of the 50/50 Raffle that evening to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.

U.S. military and veterans will be recognized at 6:45 p.m. between the JV and varsity games in a special seating section in the home bleachers and are asked to arrive by 6:15 p.m.

Schedule of events:

  • 6:45 p.m.: Introductions and recognition of military members in attendance
  • 7:15 p.m.: Varsity game tip-off, Color Guard flag presentation, and National Anthem
  • Half-time: Announcement honoring military members and thanking community
