The Plymouth High School boys basketball team and the Plymouth Panther invite students and their families to Youth Night on Jan. 19 in the PHS gym.

PHS boys basketball hosting Youth Night

The Plymouth High School boys basketball program is hosting a Youth Night during its home games Jan. 19.

All Plymouth Area Basketball Association (PABA) boys players and coaches from grades 3 through 8 will receive free admission to the game if they are wearing a PABA jersey. Tip-off of the varsity game is set for 7:15 p.m. in the PHS gym.

Participating youths also can:

  • Receive a complimentary PHS Boys Basketball Logo Decal.
  • High-five the Plymouth Panther mascot.
  • Enter a drawing to win a basketball signed by the PHS varsity team.
  • Try for a chance to participate in the half-time shooting contest.

In addition, two important recognitions will be made in front of the fans:

  • PHS basketball players who successfully completed the 15,000, 20,000, or 25,000 shot club will be recognized on center court immediately following the JV game, at approximately 6:45 p.m.
  • PABA players and coaches from grades 3 through 8, sitting together in a special seating section of the home bleachers, will be recognized during halftime of the varsity game, at approximately 8:15 p.m.
