Riverview Middle School sixth-graders recently toured the John Michael Kohler Arts Center and then created their own art.
Classes took turns Oct. 23 to 25 exploring “The Road Less Traveled” exhibit at the Arts Center in Sheboygan. They then painted a sign displaying one to three words meaningful to them. “The Road Less Traveled” exhibit is a yearlong exploration of art environments.
The visit was made possible thanks to a grant from the Arts Center covering the cost of the tour and sign-making workshop, as well as part of the busing and substitute teacher costs so Riverview art teacher Tom Larsen could accompany classes all three days.
