Panthers in the Playoffs

Boys soccer

The 1st-seeded Panthers had a bye for the first round of Division 3 regionals Oct. 17, then defeated 16th-seeded Luxemburg-Casco 8-0 Oct. 19, and 8th-seeded Fox Valley Lutheran 2-1 (OT) in the regional final Oct. 21. Plymouth next hosts a sectional against 4th-seeded Xavier at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, with the sectional final Oct. 28. The State Boys Soccer Tournament will be Nov. 2-4 at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee.

Football

The 4th-seeded Panthers defeated 5th-seeded New Berlin West 47-21 Oct. 20 in the first round of Division 3 playoffs. They now travel to 1st-seeded Whitefish Bay at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27. Winners advance each week until the State Football Championships on Nov. 16-17 at Camp Randall in Madison.

Cross Country

The girls took 2nd and the boys 7th at the Division 2 sectional Oct. 21 in Two Rivers. Competing for the Panthers were:

Girls swimming and diving

The Panthers will compete in the Division 2 diving sectional on Friday, Nov. 3, and the swimming sectional on Saturday, Nov. 4 at Ashwaubenon. The State Girls Swimming & Diving Championships will be Nov. 10-11 at the University of Wisconsin Natatorium in Madison.

Volleyball

The 5th-seeded Panthers defeated 12th-seeded Port Washington (25-11, 25-11, 26-24) in a Division 2 regional Oct. 17, but then lost to 4th-seeded Kewaskum (23-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-15) in the second round Oct. 19.

Girls tennis

The Panthers took 3rd as a team at Division 1 subsectionals on Oct. 3 at West Bend East. The No. 1 doubles team of Kayla Prahl and Kaylee Woelfel advanced to sectionals Oct. 5 at Oshkosh West, where they lost their first match.
