The Plymouth Education Foundation is spreading the word about the second PHS Alumni Class Challenge/Pay It Forward.
The 21-day challenge kicked off Sept. 8 and concludes with the winning alumni class announced at the Plymouth High School Homecoming game on Friday, Sept. 29. The Class of 1977 has already raised $440!
“PHS alumni take pride in the time they spent at Plymouth High School,” said the foundation. “Beyond receiving a great education, it's those lifelong friends; the experiences in clubs, organizations and sports; teachers who still know your name after you graduate; feeling at home when you return to PHS; and all the other experiences that affect who we are today.”
Alumni are invited to make a gift in honor of their graduating class (such as members of the Class of 1986 giving $19.86). Graduates of other high schools are welcome to make donations, too!
Alumni and all community members also are encourage to celebrate Homecoming 2017, including the parade through downtown at 4:15 p.m., the brat fry from 4:30 to 9 p.m. at the football field concession stand, and the game against Ripon at 7 p.m. In addition, Parkview and Fairview elementary schools – celebrating their 60th year – will be open for tours from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29 and from 9:30 to noon Saturday, Sept. 30.
