3. Remembering Jeff Petrie

Beloved teacher and coach Jeff Petrie passed away Saturday, the day after Riverview Middle School brought its own Homecoming parade to his street.

6. Plymouth school registration under way

The Plymouth School District is now registering students for the 2016-17 school year. Students new to the district should begin by enrolling at the district office located in Plymouth High School, 125 Highland Ave.

7. PHS students earn nearly $2.1 million in scholarships

Members of the Plymouth High School Class of 2017 will be receiving more than $2 million in scholarships, which were announced during the annual Scholarship Awards Night held May 17 at the school.

8. Community Ed & Rec registration now open

Registration is now open for the next session of Plymouth School District Community Education & Recreation programs, which run from January through April.

Registration is now open for the 2017 Plymouth School District Summer School program, which offers about 75 free classes for students in kindergarten through high school.
