PHS spring athletes garner awards

Congratulations to these Plymouth High School athletes for receiving state and conference awards!

Boys Golf

The Panthers received Team Academic All-State Honorable Mention for Division 1 from the Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin, which recognizes the highest team grade-point averages in the state. Individually, the five PHS varsity players also were named Academic All-State, which requires a GPA of at least 3.25. Additional accolades for the Panthers include:

  • Academic All-State: John Aschenbach, Cole Bogenschuetz, Cade Knaus, Alex Shutter, Jake Willeford
  • All-Conference 1st Team: Cade Knaus and Jake Willeford
  • All-Conference 2nd Team: John Aschenbach and Cole Bogenschuetz
  • All-Conference Honorable Mention: Alex Shutter

Girls Soccer

Kaylee Koenig was named All-State 2nd Team by the Wisconsin Coaches Association and was selected to participate in the Wisconsin Masonic All-Star Soccer Game to be held July 22 at UW-Whitewater.  Additional recognition for team members includes:

  • ECC Player of the Year: Kaylee Koenig
  • All-Conference 1st Team: attackers Kaylee Koenig and Sydney Robinson, defenders Brooklin Willoughby and Savannah Wiese, goalkeeper Sam Meyer
  • All-Conference 2nd Team: attacker Skyler Gosse
  • All-Conference Honorable Mention: defender Kaitlyn Heyrman and attackers Taylor Heyrman and Ellie Welsch
  • Team Hustle Award: Sydney Robinson
  • Team Sportsmanship Award: Emily Majerus
  • Team Most Improved Player Award: Tatum Eigenberger
  • Team Most Valuable Player Award: Sam Meyer
  • Team Griebel Award: Kaylee Koenig
