PHS yearbook wins national recognition

Posted May 29, 2017

Quit-Qui-Oc, the Plymouth High School yearbook, has been named a 2017 Jostens’ National Yearbook Program of Excellence.

The recognition, in its sixth year, is designed to honor engaging yearbooks that reflect a broad representation of the student body while helping students develop 21st century skills such as communication, collaboration, and information and communication technologies literacy.

Jostens prints almost 75 percent of all yearbooks nationwide, but only a few in Wisconsin received this distinction. Those so honored created an inclusive yearbook, generated school engagement, and successfully managed the yearbook creation process.

PHS will receive a gem-studded recognition pin and a banner to display in school. Quit-Qui-Oc, created by students with guidance from adviser Mary Strong, also was similarly honored in 2016.
