Fourth-graders in Melanie Morgan’s class at Horizon Elementary School recently presented a Living Wax Museum for schoolmates and families.
To prepare, each student picked a famous person and conducted book and internet research to find facts for a five-paragraph biography. Each then created a speech highlighting the most important and interesting information that he or she wanted to share about the person.
Lastly, students painted backgrounds and came up with props and costumes for the Living Wax Museum, which was held May 10 in the school hallways around the library.
