PHS Artifact: Auditorium podium

Posted April 24, 2017

NOTE: In honor of the 50th anniversary of Plymouth Comprehensive High School this year, we're sharing images of objects in and around the school. If you know more about these artifacts, please contact Jamie Piontkowski at jpiontkowski@plymouth.k12.wi.us or 892-5068.

This podium on the stage of the Plymouth High School auditorium was built in the mid-2000s by the late Mike Slagle, beloved teacher, coach and athletic director.

“It took a year to build because he was always building things – high-end wood projects – for others,” said Dan Mella, then PHS principal and now assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction.
