The Spaghetti Dinner hosted recently by the Riverview Music Boosters had a successful night raising money for the school music program.
Much of the success of the event is due to the generous donors, organizers said. “Many children are able to be involved in Plymouth music because of the support from our Plymouth community and businesses,” they wrote. “A lot of things we are privileged to have in our school program would not otherwise be covered in regular budgets.”
The silent auction alone raised more than $2,000. Donors included Road America, CPN Hair Studio, Luige’s Pizza, Dreams Unlimited, Gahagan family, Camp Anokijig, Pizza Ranch, Kwik Trip, Johnsonville Sausage, Sargento, Downtown Arts & Merchants, Osthoff Resort, Plymouth Chiropractic, Chiro Health, Blue Harbor Resort, Francis Chiropractic, Unity Salon, Antoinette’s, LaBella Salon, Sweet Basil, Camisha Miller, Lakeland University, The Healing Table, Kim Sheets, Green Bay Packers, Otter Creek Landscape, Steffes Family, Bridgett Neu of Pleasant View Realty, Kohler Co., Haefs family, Milk Specialties Global, Van Horn Automotive Group, Riverview staff members and administration, John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Paddock Club, 20/20 Visions, Sartori Foods, Kwik Trip, and Arbuckle Floral.
The event also gave many Riverview students the chance to practice their events in advance of the district Solo & Ensemble competition March 11.
