Fairview Elementary School students recently visited the Food Science & Agriculture Center at Plymouth High School to plant their own seeds.
On Feb. 8, each grade took turns walking to the facility, where they filled a pot with dirt, and then added sunflower seeds and fertilizer, under the guidance of PHS agriscience teacher Tracy Heinbuch and her students.
Students will get their plants to take home on March 2 at the school’s literacy night, which has a theme of “Plant the Seed … Read!”
