Parkview Elementary School in Plymouth raised more than $7,500 at its eighth annual Walk-a-Thon, the school’s main fundraiser.

Students, staff and family members participated in the walk, held from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. Oct. 7 on school grounds and the surrounding neighborhood. Everyone enjoyed a snack of popcorn and water afterward.

Students raised pledges from relatives, friends and neighbors before the walk. The money will be used for field trips, special assemblies, and classroom supplies.
