College Entrance Exams

ACT

The ACT Assessment® is designed to assess high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work. The tests cover four skill areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science reasoning.

The ACT is an admission requirement for all schools in the University of Wisconsin System, including the two-year Centers.

Juniors are strongly recommended to take it during the spring prior to their senior year.

ACT scores will be sent free to four institutions or scholarship programs.

The ACT costs $35(no writing) and $50.50 (plus writing). (Late fee $22).

The ACT application packet includes a preparation booklet with a sample test. Several books to aid students in preparing for either of these tests are available in the library. In addition, the library also has a video on the SAT.

Our "School Code" for the ACT is 501- 830.

Plymouth High School is NOT a test center for the ACT. If you are interested, registration materials are available in the School Counseling Office.

Accuplacer Test - For admission to a Wisconsin Technical College. Call 920-208-5888 to schedule an appointment. Accuplacer Test can be taken at Plymouth High School. Please contact School Counseling department for further information.
