Summer School

The district prizes its Summer School program as an excellent opportunity for students to keep learning through the summer. More than 80 different classes are offered for students in kindergarten through high school.

While remedial courses are offered, the vast majority are designed to keep students thinking and exploring during the summer months. About two-thirds of the district’s elementary students attend Summer School and about one-third of the middle school students do. Students from other school districts are welcome to attend our Summer School.

2014 Summer School

Summer School will run 5 weeks from July 7 to Aug. 8 this summer, a later start than in recent years. Classes are offered from 8 to 11:45 a.m. at Plymouth High School and Horizon Elementary School.

Course descriptions are available via the link at right.

Open Houses will be offered from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 2 and from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 3. Students and parents will be able to take a self-guided tour of Plymouth High School to assist in finding classrooms.
