760 Food Service Management
The Board of Education shall provide the opportunity to students of the district to participate in the National School Lunch Program.
The school lunch program shall be financially self-supporting except for expenses, which the Board may assume from time to time.
Charges for lunches and milk will be periodically reviewed by the Board and will be adjusted according to economic requirements. Tickets purchased in advance may be redeemed for new priced tickets.
All policies, requirements and regulations of the school lunch program at both the Federal and State levels shall be adhered to.
Determining eligibility for free and reduced price meals shall be the responsibility of the Business Administrator or designee.
The Plymouth Joint School District shall not discriminate in school-sponsored food services programs on the basis of sex, race, religion, national origin, color, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, physical, mental, emotional or learning disability or handicap.
Discrimination complaints shall be processed in accordance with established procedures.
