453.5 Student Physical Examinations

The Board of Education, in cooperation with the health departments in the city and county strongly urges that all children entering school for the first time have a physical examination. The Board encourages periodic physical examinations throughout the students’ school years.

Students participating in interscholastic athletic programs are required to have bi-annual physical examinations prior to participation in any sport.
