447 Student Discipline
All certificated personnel have the authority and duty to establish and enforce reasonable rules of good behavior and discipline as outlined in the student handbooks or covered by rules of discipline set by each school.
The Board of Education authorizes teachers and administrators to employ reasonable practices in disciplining students for misbehavior and/or violations of rules and regulations.
The Plymouth Joint School District shall not discriminate in standards or rules of behavior or disciplinary action, including suspension and expulsion, on the basis of sex, race, religion, national origin, color, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, physical, mental, emotional or learning disability or handicap. Discrimination complaints shall be processed in accordance with established procedures.
