The Plymouth School District serves the families of approximately 2,250 students in the community of Plymouth, the village of Cascade and surrounding areas encompassing 150 square miles in all.
In 2009 our Board of Education established Pillars of Excellence, key principles that distinguish our district and advance our mission: To encourage everyone to see and be his/her personal best through successful learning experiences. The board currently is reviewing the original Pillars and has defined the following four Pillars.

Graduation rate: 90.9% of seniors receive a regular diploma, compared to 87.0% statewide.
ACT scores: Plymouth students taking the ACT college entrance exam had a composite average of 23.4, compared to 22.0 for the state.
Dropout rate: Plymouth has a dropout rate of 0.87%, compared to 1.46% for the state.
