Can we find healthy, quick and affordable meals for less than $3 per person? Oh yes we can!
Plymouth Community Education and Recreation offers Grocery Store Challenges, in which participants visit local grocery stores with dietitian Jessica Mella to find inexpensive, healthy meal options for busy families.
The Challenge: Spend less than $3 per person, use fresh or frozen fruits/vegetables, keep sodium <600 mg/serving, use MyPlate as a guide (www.choosemyplate.gov)
