Employment opportunities

We frequently have openings for referees, lifeguards, fitness center staff, daycare workers, ropes course assistants and other positions.

Below are positions for which applications are being accepted. Unless other instructions are given, you can download an application at right and bring it to the Plymouth School District Community Education and Recreation office on the north end of Plymouth High School.

 

Evening Core Instructor

This position is part time status 0-2 hours per week. Training is Available. This class meets 2 nights a week throughout the year. Instructors will develop classes on stability and core strengthening using stability balls, Bosu balls, and any other devices needed. Certification is encouraged but not mandatory. Core is available in all sessions throughout the year.

 

Fitness Class Instructor

This position is Unlimited in possibility. If you have an idea for a fitness class that you would like to instruct, please contact us. We are alwayslooking for new ideas. These classes usually meets 2 nights a week at various times of the year. Certification is encouraged but not mandatory.

 

Substitute Fitness Instructors

This position is casual status with 0-15 hours per week. Training is available.

This position is a substitute position for all fitness classes:
1. Body Basics---This class features low-impact aerobics with energetic, fun music.
2. Boot Camp---A high intensity class designed to blast your fitness level.
3. Core Fitness---Tighten and tone your midsection with the use of exercise balls and strength bands.
4. Sculpt & Tone---A total body weight training workout using weight resistance and repetition.
5. Top Flight---A complete figure-shaping fitness program using a warm-up and continues into aerobics.

 

Substitute Zumba Instructors (3 positions)

This position is casual status with 0-15 hours per week. There is potential for regular part-time employment. Zumba certification and training will be added for qualified candidate.

This position is a substitute position for all of the Zumba classes:
1. Zumba
2. Zumba Gold
3. Zumba Gold Toning
4. Other potential Zumba classes

 

Officiating (unlimited positions)

This position is for Basketball Officials. Training is available through WIAA.

This position is for the officiating of community sporting events including but not limited to: Basketball.

 

Substitute Kidz Gym (1 position)

This position is Regular Part Time status with 0- 1 hour per week. Training is available. This position is a Substitue position for all the Kidz Gym classes. This position is based on experience. Kidz Gym is class geared toward 2-3 year old boys and girls. This class introduces key motor skills and works on major and minor muscle groups. There is free play time before and after instruction.

 

Music teacher
