The Plymouth High School Amph-Rats will be presenting an original show for the public as their final exam.
The public is invited to enjoy a show created and performed by the Plymouth High School Amph-Rats that promises to be filled with humorous puns, slapstick and laughs.
The Amph-Rats, comprised of students in the Drama II/III Advanced Acting Class, create an original performance piece each year as the class final exam.
This year the group has created a murder-mystery, cruise-style play featuring interacting characters from famous films, including “Star Wars,” “Harry Potter,” “The Titanic,” “Toy Story,” “Pirates of the Caribbean.”
Characters from the films have been invited on a cruise by a famous film critic, who has promised the strongest characters a reward. Of course, jealousy and their competitive nature leads to many characters “accidentally” disappearing overboard.
Students in the class are seniors Rodrigo Aguila-Mena, Sean Beitler, Jasmin Carron, Sarah Coley, Marissa Kultgen, Andrew Larson, Martina Markovska, Charles Martin, Jesse Meyer, Lacey Meyer, Amber Musiedlak, Aubrey Leigh Newton, Heaven Protsman, Emily Ruehle, Brittany Schaefer, Sarah Severn, Joshua Smith, Wendell Strutz, and Cynthia Tirado; and juniors Adam Hernandez, Joseph Larson, Alex Lomibao, Kathryn Marsho, Taylor Radder, Rebecca Schwartz, Mckenzie Tischauser, Zone Vang and Koua Xiong.
Performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 10; Friday, May 11; and Saturday, May 12 in the amphitheatre at Plymouth High School, 125 Highland Ave. Admission is free.
