The public is invited to the annual Plymouth High School Talent Show, which features performances by community members of all ages competing for cash prizes.
Acts include singing, dancing, musical instruments and skits. The show will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 3 in the Acuity Auditorium at Plymouth High School, 125 Highland Ave.
The event, sponsored by the school’s Key Club, will benefit By the Waves, started by drum-maker Kofi Appiah Patrick Yeboah to raise funds to build a school for orphans in his village of Pram Pram, Ghana. By the Waves is sending a video about the organization to be shown during the show, and is providing a drum to be raffled that night.
