Plymouth High School presented Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Oklahoma!” March 15-18 as its annual spring musical.

“Oklahoma!” premiered on Broadway in 1943 to rave reviews. It tells the story of the struggles of Oklahoma territory settlers in 1907 – their loves for each other and, most importantly, their love for the land and making it a state.

“Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’,”  “People Will Say Were in Love,” and “Oklahoma” are just some of the great songs from this musical.

The show was directed by Dan Parks and Herb Stoltenberg, with choreography by Lori Schmitt. The pit band was under the direction of Jason Sebranek, with performance pianist Paul Sucherman.
